Parents

Nenya is one of the progenies of the second litter to Arja - Aniara's Romantic Rose. Arja is known as the oldest dog in the pack at Rønningen (Meråker). She is a very inquisitive and patient lady.

Nenya's father, Casper - SU(u)CH NUCH FIN UCH TJH LP1 Almanza Ragamuffin, is brother to Mina's father (NORDUCH GBSHCH WW-02 NV-02 Almanza Roundabout). Casper is a very beautiful flat, that is show champion in Sweden, Norway and Finland. In addition, he is an clever working dog, police dog, and a honored obedience dog. He is also well decorated for hunting and searching skills. A real allrounder! Casper has several litters of healthy, sharp and nice progenies behind him. Casper and his owner, Anna, got the title of "The Search and resque dog equipage of the year 2005" (Årets Tjenestehundekvipasje 2005), competing with all dog breeds!

Concerning the name

Even in the early days in the puppy bin, Nenya was known for here beauty of voice. She can make the most unlikely noises, sometimes she is a hen, other time a wolf.

Nenya is taken from The Lord of the Rings, and is one of the elven rings (Galadriel's ring). That is nice when the sister of Mari's dog is known as Vilja. Vilya was Elrond's ring.
